Hi! I'm Suzanne, a travel enthusiast and family travel planning expert.
I started La Única Travel to share my passion for immersive, adventure-driven travel with families who want more than a typical vacation.
Today, we specialize in designing epic, unexpected adventures for families with teens — the kind of trips that spark connection, independence, and stories that last long after the flight home.
We don’t just pick destinations.
We uncover the adventure inside them.
From glacier hikes and wildlife encounters to hands-on cultural experiences and offbeat local discoveries, every journey is thoughtfully crafted to be immersive, active, and unforgettable — whether domestic or international.
My passion for travel began at a young age, sparking a journey of exploration.
As a former flight attendant, I built my life around exploring the world — living in Switzerland and Spain and visiting all 50 U.S. states along the way. From solo adventures in Hong Kong and Australia to immersive family journeys across Europe and beyond, each experience has shaped how I design travel today.
My favorite adventures include sailing in the British Virgin Islands, caving in Mallorca, learning to curl in Montréal, backpacking in Costa Rica, and scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef.
